The team that is leading the industry’s agcXML initiative is hosting a live demonstration of how an RFI will be handled between different software solutions at the AGC Annual Convention. As a Silver sponsor of the program, StratusVue will be participating in the demo to show how compliance with the agcXML schema will help improve data exchange for users.
The demonstration will be held on March 4th from 10 – 11:30AM at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Attendees will be able to see first-hand what the benefits of creating and using a consistent framework for data transfers will bring them. There will also be an opportunity for conversation about where the initiative is headed, and what software users feel their needs are.
StratusVue’s President and COO, John Goecke, will be on-hand to illustrate how PlansandSpecs handles RFIs, and discuss opportunities with attendees.

Led by the Association of General Contractors (AGC), the agcXML’s mission is defined as such:
“With participation and sponsorship from a constituency of AGC members, software developers, the construction industry, and related associations, the agcXML mission is to develop and maintain open source interoperability standards for the commercial construction industry.”
